Josh Mills formed Mills & Co. in early 2005 as a side project from his day job at Joe Smith Early Ford. It started as an after hours endeavor that focused on fabrication and custom builds as opposed to his day job where he specialized in selling and rebuilding early Ford parts. As the demand grew for his services, and his desire to focus more on creating than selling, he went out on his own.

Josh chose the name Mills & Co. to honor the people that are his support. The "company" represents his wife and sons, the craftsman that he works with, his good friends, and the countless number of old timers that he has asked questions to over the years.

His cars and bikes have been featured in numerous magazines and books and he shares his knowledge and love for the hobby through regular contributions as a magazine technical consultant and editorial writer.

Attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and an eye for aesthetics are the earmarks of the work done at Mills & Co. Their knowledge and love for early Fords, hot rods and customs is apparent in the work that they do and the cars they drive.
